Workout Structure

Warmup:5 min walk, then ease into running
Main Set:25 min easy running - you should be able to hold a conversation the entire time
Cooldown:5 min walk, gentle stretching

Why This Workout?

Today's easy run is the foundation of your training. Even though it might feel "too easy," this is where most of your running should be. Easy runs build your aerobic engine without accumulating excess fatigue.

Coach Tip

If you can't hold a conversation, you're going too fast. There's no shame in walking uphills on easy days.
